Very nice pastries, and the hot food looked delicious but unfortunately I didn't try it as there was a 30 minute wait due to how busy they were.However, the tea is absolutely awful. Although it's listed on the menu as loose leaf tea, it's actually just low-grade teabags. They clearly care about quality with the coffee and food, I don't understand how they can be comfortable with the quality of the tea they sell.
The drinks were nice, but a 45 minute wait for the food was too long for me. You would not mind waiting this long if you were sat in a restaurant, but this is too long for a coffee shop.
Friendly staff, great coffee and delicious food. It would be 5* if they warmed the plates up for hot food. As the plates are stone cold, your food get cold really quickly.
The atmosphere was good and the staff were friendly. I had a hot chocolate and a salted caramel brownie. Both of which were good. The hot chocolate tasted like it was made with proper chocolate and wasn't as sweet as some high street coffee shops might make. I liked this, but some people may not. My husband had pancakes with maple syrup and a flat white. He said they were both well made, although he wasn't as keen on the blend of coffee they used (North Star) but again that's down to personal preference.There isn't masses of space for buggies, but they have a small area to park buggies in and provide high chairs too.
